Waypoint

Terms

Waypoint is a free personal planning tool. These terms are deliberately short and describe what you can expect and what is expected of you.

The service

Waypoint helps you plan a career transition. It is provided free of charge, with no subscription, no trial and no paid tier.

It is an independent personal project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any employer named in your plan.

Your account

You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for keeping that account secure. You must be old enough to hold a Google account in your country.

Your content

Your plan belongs to you. Waypoint claims no ownership over anything you write and does not use it to train anything or share it with third parties.

Do not store other people's confidential information, credentials, or anything you are contractually barred from taking out of a workplace.

Availability

The service is provided as-is, without warranty. It runs on a free hosting tier and may be unavailable, may lose data, or may be discontinued. Export anything you cannot afford to lose.

Nothing here is legal, financial, tax or employment advice. Check your own contract and speak to a qualified professional before acting on anything in a checklist.

Ending use

You can stop at any time and delete your data from the account menu. Accounts that are used to abuse the service or other people may be removed.
